Jiras is an artist who brings together dissimilar elements of the metropolis to explore its hidden relationships.
Her work focuses on the invention of images and structures that find possibilities between the margins and the center, the forms and the sumptuousness of color, the Andean tradition and globalization. Her muse is Peruvian architecture where she goes through pre Incan ruins, rural huts, old Lima mansions and modern business buildings transforming and reinventing them with a contemporary look.
